This Sunday, Tim and I left for a 2 night 3 day stay in La Quinta, at the La Quinta resort. We just got home and I am so ready to go back! We did nothing but lay out by the pool and read and float around in the water and eat! What a great couple of days! Robin and John, (Tim’s parents), gave us this trip as our last vacation before our new baby. That was so sweet of them! We really appreciate them for doing this for us. I know I needed something like this so bad! It was nice to not be on my feet and just relax! We went into Palm Springs each day and walked around a bit and ate. The weather was beautiful, about 75-78 degrees. The first night, we ate at the resort on this outdoor patio next to a fountain and ate really yummy food! Then this morning, we ate bagels and juice on another patio with lots and lots of flowers and birds. So very nice. I always get this sadness or depression after a vacation or something fun! I hate it! It’s a real thing though that people get! Really! I looked it up online! haha! It only lasts a bit and it not a horrible sadness or anything, just a little, like, “man! its over! now back to real life!” Yesterday morning, I was in the shower and Tim went to get us muffins and coffee. It was soooooo great! I loved it. We went into town, ate again, (hehe!) and then came back to the pool and read and slept and read and slept. Ahhhhhhhhh….my perfect day! Today after we checked out we went to Palm Springs and rode on the aeriel tramway. It was so pretty and fun! It was 75 degrees at the bottom and 44 degrees up top! brrrr! We had a nice lunch at a restaurant up at the top. We hung out outside looking at the beautiful scenery for awhile, then got back on the tram to go down and start driving home. It really is so fun! I’ve always wanted to ride it and just never have for some reason so I really enjoyed it. We just got home and unpacked. I’m doing laundry (ugh) but yet still relaxing! Vacations not over til midnight right?!?!? Marley is still very active and always poking and jabbing at me. She really wants out!!! ; ) We have 6.5 weeks to go though! ; ) okay…okay….back to real life……bye for now~
